WA seeks comments on Code of practice: Working hours

The Western Australian Commission for Occupational Safety and Health is seeking comments on the Code of practice: Working hours.

The Code of practice: Working hours is issued by the Commission for Occupational Safety and Health and its Mining Industry Advisory Committee under the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994. The code of practice outlines employers' duty of care in relation to occupational safety and health risks that may arise from working hours arrangements and provides guidance on conducting a risk management process.

Comments will be used to evaluate the code of practice and consider whether any improvements should be made. The commission requires all comments to be made by 28 March 2008.
