Licensing Line News website upgrade

The Licensing Line News website has been updated to provide licensing and training stakeholders with more information on occupational licensing and its intersection with the vocational education and training system.

The website has been redesigned to provide users with easier access to key information about occupational licensing reform in Australia, in particular those which impact on training and assessment.

The updated website includes the following five key sections:

• the Licensing Line News e-newsletter
• occupational licensing reform in Australia
• links to key licensing and training stakeholders
• a glossary of licensing and training terms
• information about Licensing Line News.

The licensing reform section includes information on current issues such as the:

• the proposed national licensing system
• high risk work licensing units of competency.

The website provides licensing stakeholders with general information on vocational education and training and training stakeholders with general information on occupational licensing.

Both new sections give detailed information on the integration of licensing into vocational education and training along with tips for stakeholders on how to benefit and how to engage.

The website will continue to be updated with relevant information as it becomes available.
