Training stakeholders

The following pages aim to provide training stakeholders with relevant information about occupational licensing and the current reforms to integrate training and assessment requirements for occupational licensing into the Australian vocational education and training (VET) system.

These pages are aimed at training stakeholders, including:

  • trainers and assessors
  • registered training organisations
  • industry skills councils
  • training package developers
  • state training authorities.

The information is divided into two sections. The first section provides general information on occupational licensing and its relationship with vocational education and training.

The second section provides specific information on current reforms to integrate training and assessment requirements for occupational licensing into nationally recognised vocational education and training (VET) and how those reforms impact on training stakeholders.
